RadarActive works just like the concealed displays offered by Valentine One. The display shows:

• Police Radar Bands (X, K, Ka, L).

• Radar detector operating mode (for V1: "All", "Logic", etc).

• Number of radar signals detected (1, 2, 3, etc).

• Radar Signal Strength Indicator.

• Arrows - (signal from the front, rear, side).

Speedtraps detected by your Valentine One radar locator are immediately shared with all RadarActive users. The speedtraps are mapped and displayed in the RadarActive application in real time. The data is crowd-sourced - everyone is a contributor, and the system becomes more fun with each user. Get the word out!

In addition to our constantly updated red light camera database, RadarActive users can submit encountered red light/speed cameras as well as vote the existing ones up or down.

The iPhone-Radar Transceiver (iRTx) allows a user to connect the Valentine One radar detector to the iPhone, thereby allowing the iPhone to function as a virtual radar detector display. The iRTx connects to the Valentine One radar detector by plugging it into the "ACC" port of:

V1 Direct-Wire Power adapter, if your V1 is hardwired.

V1 Cigarette Lighter adapter.

The communication between the radar detector and the iPhone is through the iPhone's earphone jack. The RadarActive box provides 'audio out' that can be connected to your car's stereo AUX port to listen to music while RadarActive is connected. Once the iPhone is connected to the V1, the Valentine1 main display is blacked out, just like with the original Valentine concealed display. The RadarActive iRTx works in parallel with the original V1 concealed display.
